Keep a Roof Over a Vulnerable Family's Heads
Donation protected
My mother and I are at risk of being homeless.
Please help us raise money for my mother and I to be able to afford to keep a roof over our heads while we try to make arrangements to go back home to Maryland, our hometown.
We had been living in an abusive household back in Florida, and moved to Alabama with a friend in order to be safe.
That friend is no longer in our lives after putting us out of their home without any prior discussion. They informed us at the last minute that they were moving away, two days before their move date.
Even though we are no longer living in an abusive home, we are now dangerously at risk for being homeless.
We cannot go to a shelter, for fear of being separated or harmed. I am autistic and I do not do well in unfamiliar places that aren't secure, or around lots of people or loud noises.
Right now, we're currently staying at a motel in Alabama and want to be able to afford the room here while we simultaneously try to afford to move back to our hometown of Maryland.
Please.
We are so scared.
