Adam West was the bright knight Batman of the 1960's, but to the world, he was so much more. This GOFUNDME is dedicated to:

1. Raising funds to support Adam West Day, the 7th annual official celebration of all things Adam West, in his hometown of Walla Walla, WA. Adam West Day is a celebration of all things Adam, his childhood, his acting career, his charity work, and his family. The event is held annually in September and features batmobiles, bat-related events, often a celebrity guest, and lighting of the bat-signal. This year the event will be held at the Kirkman House Museum where a replica of the 1966 batcave entrance is on display permanently. The events are family-friendly with lots of activities for kids looking to have fun in costumes or just to see and interact with everyone that is!

If you can make it to Adam West Day, make a donation and come see us in Walla Walla. If you can't make it to Adam West Day this year, donate this year and look for it on Facebook next year! We plan to grow the event and offer Adam's inspiration for years to come.

2. Along the theme of remembering Adam, 50% of the funds raised will fund the construction of a statue of Adam West in Menlo Park in Walla Walla just off of Alvarado Terrace in Walla Walla. This is the perfect park for Adam's statue because it is just down the street from where Adam went to school as a little boy (Green Park) and only one block away from the house where a young Billy Anderson (Adam West) lived. Alvarado Terrace is now also known as ADAM WEST WAY where his name was added to the street to honor him in 2017 after his passing.

A top priority of this project has always been to respect the wishes of the family of Adam West. The project has received their blessing! The statue is of the bright knight in his alter ego of Adam West, the amazing man behind the mask. It will feature bat-themed lighting at night. The estimated cost of the statue, including expenses and installation, will be approximately $200,000. Our goal for 2024 is $40,000 but why not help us fund it all in one year!
