Keep amazing People employed and great food alive.

Hello everyone! My name is Ricardo I'm the co-founder of Tamales y Tacos Puebla. My wife and I embarked on this journey together back in January of 2012. We started out very humble selling tamales out of the back of our van and eventually started doing catering events. We also donate our time, money and talents to our community.  Over the last 5 years we have worked with many non-profit organizations to help feed large crowd's. In the last 3 years our company grew to 8 full-time employees that specialized in corporate events and special occasions. Unfortunately due to COVID19 we were forced to cease operations on March 17th, 2020 All of the events that we had on our calendar have been cancelled. Leaving my crew and us without any income. All of the customers that made a deposit, have asked for their money back leaving us with no money to pay our bills or even buy much needed necessities. Our business relies solely on those events. We don't have any other income. We have applied to all SBA loans and we have been turned down. "Money ran out." We all have families to feed and we are struggling to have ends meet. I hate asking, but we truly need your help. With all these restrictions in place we have pivoted towards new ideas in order to stop the spread of the virus, and keep our business open. But in order for us to do any of that we need your help. With your help we would be able to re-open and continue to feed families in need. Just last week, we cooked 400 meals with food that we had on our freezers and food that was donated by St. Mary's food bank for people in desperate need. We also delivered some to 1st responders, grocery store workers and  we gave the rest to our neighbors in the same block.  We didn't put it on any of our social media platforms because I believe in what the Bible says (Matthew 6:3) "But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing." There are a lot of people doing that right now, and I respect that. I personally don't want that. Thank you for taking the time to read this, God bless and please stay safe out there.
