Keep Beare Green Green

We are a small group of villagers, trying to save circa 90 acres of beautiful green belt land, from being used to increase the sprawl and village boundaries for a total of 535 additional homes developments and 2 traveler sites.
These pieces of land share their borders with Surrey Hills', Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and as such should never even have been contemplated for development where brownfield sites are available. Brownfields countrywide should take priority for use, with more innovative green and sustainable builds and indeed when climate change is such a high profile priority, the fields should at the very least be reforested.
The village of Beare Green is under attack from not only housing development, but increased traffic on our already dangerous roads and from above as Gatwick has begun consultation to increase volume of flights out of both of its runways.
We're tired and would like to keep what little peace and green spaces we have surrounding our village, so please help us to keep our village safe and a place that we all still want to live in. We would love to win this war to help other small villages like ours, to maintain their size and uniqueness.
The funds will be used to raise awareness of our plight, going to publicity, printing, paper and banners, hall hire for our community meetings evidence gathering and data capture and collation.
