Keep Camp Katrindo Cottages "Afloat"

Camp Katrindo Cottages  holds a very special place in many people's hearts and has created countless memories for vacationing patrons over the years.  Personally, I started vacationing here with my parents, brother and sister  30 + years ago.  I proposed to my wife Jenn in Middle Doe and now my kids can't wait for our annual week of vacation in August.

A few years ago, Bob & Leslie VanSchepen took the business risk of becoming the new owners to carry on allowing many to create lifetime memories.  For this I am very thankful along with my extended family and lifelong friends we have met while vacationing here.

For those that have been following their Facebook page - http://campkatrindocottages.com/, you will know the town of Katrine and surrounding areas have been affected by unprecedented flooding.  Unfortunately, Camp Katrindo Cottages has also been affected.  At the moment, many of the cottages are under water and will likely face many repairs.  Due to the location of the cottages, Bob and Leslie are not able to obtain insurance and being a business they currently do not qualify for any government assistance.

For this reason, this GoFundMe page is being setup to assist Bob & Leslie with their small business that many have grown to love.  Bob and Leslie are staying positive to see their business survive and literally stay afloat.  Getting to know Bob and Leslie over the past few years, they are a selfless couple that want to do good for others, and not be a burden asking for help.

Many have asked what they can do to help and not sure how they can make an impact.  Please consider donating to this cause by helping a local small business, in the town of Katrine and allow the creation of memories of fishing, water-skiing, boating, sunsets, weddings, proposals, smiles and laughter to continue for the years to come.
