Keep CFCnet up and running

Hi, I’m Sam, or you may know me as My Blood Is Blue.

I’ve been an active member of the CFCnet forums for nearly 15 years, and it’s become an essential part of my daily routine. The community on there means a lot to me, and I’ve truly enjoyed being a part of it.

Unfortunately, the site was taken over some time ago by a company that showed little interest in managing or maintaining it. In January 2024, they decided to pull the plug, and CFCnet was taken down.

A group of dedicated regulars, myself included, felt that the forums needed to be revived and properly managed, so I took it upon myself to rebuild the site. I’m determined to keep it running for as long as possible, but doing so comes with costs. It’s around £60 a month for hosting, domain names, and the forum software itself. Thanks to the incredibly generous donations from our members, we’ve already raised enough to cover the costs until January 2026. Now, we’re focusing on raising enough to keep things running until January 2028.
