Keep Citizens Advice going in Halton

We don't charge people for using our service, instead we rely on grants and donations.

Unfortunately, our local authority grant has been cut by 97%, other project funding is coming to an end, inflation and increased Employers National Insurance Contributions tax bill, means that we will now really struggle to keep this vital service going in both Widnes and Runcorn.

Citizens Advice Halton is an independent and impartial charity here to help people to overcome their problems.

Each year we help around 8,000 people across a wide range of problems e.g. the management of debt, getting the correct disability and work related benefits, problems with housing and rent, relationship issues, problems at work and consumer rights.

We also offer advocacy & representation services and help people to access grants and other support they need to solve their problems.
