Keep Dad Rolling: Truck Repair Needed

If you know my dad, which many do, you know his passion for keeping busy and helping others is what keeps him going. My dad does dump runs to stay busy and make a little extra money on the side while being disabled because of the tough economy we live in. His truck recently started making a sound and when he took it into the mechanic it came out to be a rod knock.

It’s a very costly fix, among other issues the truck had when they bought it. They had promises from the dealership they would fix issues that came when they bought the truck originally but because it wasn’t in the written contract they have fallen through on their promises and there isn’t anything we can do.
