Keep De La Dance Company's doors open

De la Dance Company has been an essential part of the Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky dance community for over 16 years. Under the leadership of co-directors Mario de la Nuez and Meridith Benson, De La Dance Company has produced hundreds of high -quality professional performances, as well as dancers who have gone on to join world-renowned professional companies all over the country. Our mission is to nurture our community's love for dance and help our dancers grow confident in their ability to carry themselves in the world, whether or not they pursue dance professionally. With all of the challenges that the Covid-19 pandemic brought to countless small businesses, De La has felt these challenges and persevered through many hardships. Throughout the length of the pandemic, we continued to create a safe space for our dancers to connect with the community that they all needed. Although De La has been lucky to survive the setbacks that the pandemic brought up to this point, this certainly did not come without its challenges. Quarantine restrictions created a loss of performance income and a large decrease in student enrollment in the associated school, De La Dance Center. Being a not-for-profit organization, De La Dance Company heavily relies on our community's donations and contributions which have also lessened due to the current economic environment. De La needs your help in keeping our doors open so we can continue to fulfill our mission. Your tax-deductible donations will help fund the work of the company artists, staff and administration. We thank you in advance for your donation and help in keeping De La open.
