Help Dean Fight

In 2015, Dean experienced a serious career ending hand injury. While out of work, he took care of 94 year old mother who broke her arm. At this point he started to feel ill not knowing he had cancer.
In early 2016, his mother fell broke her arm again. Dean once again took care of his mother while rapidly losing weight. He then entered Roswell Park Cancer Institute after being diagnosed with stage 4 aggressive Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.
Beginning in March, Dean started aggressive debilitating chemotherapy while his mother moved into a nursing facility.
Because cancer treatments to date were unsuccessful in 2017, Dean started clinical research trials. His wife Donna had a hip replacement rehabbing at home with Dean’s help. The two clinical trials proved to be unsuccessful and he returned to traditional chemotherapy.
Dean still has not made it into remission and earlier this year, 2018, the Lymphoma became aggressive once again. He then started severe preparatory chemotherapy traditionally used for bone marrow transplant. Dean began a recently approved immunotherapy treatment targeting cancer cells which is beyond costly BUT LIFESAVING. He was admitted into the hospital for month of June where he received heavy chemo that followed with stem cell infusion. He battled heavy side effects that left him debilitated and in danger of contacting germs that would kill him.
In July he was able to return home but only with 24 hour care with his wife Donna as the main caregiver as he was in serious danger of infection, neurotoxicity, and seizures.
Tragically Donna, Dean’s wife passed away shortly after his return unexpectedly of a heart attack. She was the sole provider of the family. Dean is now left to carry on and fight for his life independently.
ALL money donated will go directly to Dean to help him pay for living expenses, medical treatment and piling bills. Any donation will make a difference so please consider donating and we kindly ask that you share this with as many people as possible. Thank you in advance for your generosity.
