Keep Dena in School

About seven months ago, my sister died and I was diagnosed with a rare disease. Currently, I am pursuing more aggressive treatment options for this disease as I have not been responding to the treatment I've been on.
Around the same time that I was diagnosed and my sister passed, I turned in some paperwork concerning financing for school. Unbeknownst to me until recently, that paperwork was never filed properly and has resulted in my being rejected for financial aid for this upcoming semester. I had no idea it was happening, as I have been caught up in the details of managing my health and moving forward from the tragedy that was my sister's passing. In the Spring, I was awarded the Women in Film scholarship from my school, which has kept me enrolled, but I have come to the end of my options when it comes to paying the rest of the tuition for this semester.
I would be extremely grateful if you would help me continue to pursue my dream of filmmaking, as well as help me to stay in school during a very difficult time in my life. Going to class and staying busy has helped to keep me out of depression as I face a longer road to recovery than I first anticipated when I began treatment earlier this year.
This semester, I am a part of creating an interactive game, writing a business plan for my future film business, learning the mechanics of feature length scripts, working on two sets, and helping to produce a short film. I am also working on my own script, set for production in early 2020.
Once again, thank you in advance for supporting me. Your support does wonders for my morale and keeps my chin up on the harder days. I appreciate you so much.
