Keep Desiree and Her Children Safe From Abuse
Donation protected
Please help Desiree in her fight against the abuse that her and her three children have been suffering from.
Desiree is a single mother of 3 children aged 5, 3, and 2. She has to pay her lawyers retainer fees so that she can keep her 3 children safe and legally protected.
Right now the children are safe at home with Desiree. There are restraining orders in place to protect them at the moment, and there is a need to continue the restraining orders to keep them safe.
Desiree is a single stay at home mother who is actively looking for a job to help financially support her children. She has volunteered for families of National Guard Servicemembers across the State of Massachusetts to help cope with difficult life changes during deployments. She resigned from her volunteering position in 2016 to focus on her own family after they started suffering from abuse. She continues to support the families of servicemembers as much as she can.
Statistically, a protective parent can spend anywhere from $5,000-$70,000 in legal fees to keep them and their children safe. This is an immense additional stress on top of an already difficult time.
Desiree wishes to pay it forward in the future to help other parents in their own fight against abuse to pay for legal representation. Any money donated over what her legal fees cost will be donated after the finalization of her divorce to help other financially struggling parents who need financial aid.
