Keep Dynasty Typewriter Alive!

Like so many other businesses, Dynasty Typewriter had to close its doors when the Covid-19 pandemic hit in March. We're doing everything we can to keep our full-time staff employed while staying true to our mission of bringing joy and enchantment to the world. To that end, we're regularly livestreaming and offering online classes and innovating/pivoting as much as we can. But even so, it remains a challenge to cover our overhead without our regular theater operations. It will likely be several months before we can open our doors again, but we want to ensure that we can survive long enough to be around when this is all behind us - it’s safe to say that artists and audiences are going to need venues more than ever!
We've started this because we’ve had people reaching out to us about how they can help. If you’re in a position to contribute something we’d certainly appreciate it! But we realize this pandemic is affecting everyone, so please know that we have no expectations.
More about us:
As an independent venue, we’re here to bring wonderful voices to our community. We’ve been thrilled and honored by the caliber of talent we’ve had on our stage, from nationally renowned headliners to amazing up and comers. We are a space for artists and audiences to exchange energy and ideas, bring joy, encourage growth, start conversations, and of course, entertain. It’s been our greatest gift to do this for the last three years, and more than anything we want to be here waiting for you on the other side of this insane time. Artists will need to express themselves and process the shared tragedies and triumphs we’ve all lived through, and you’ll want to get the flarp’ out of the house and share experiences with other humans… hopefully at a lil’ place like us, that’s NOT owned by a big corporation, Big Pharma, Monsanto, or Big Twizzlers.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We wouldn’t be here without you and can’t wait to see you back at the theater when we can finally re-open.
Love,
