Keep Fighting De’Drick

- Hi, my name is Zandrea Lattimore Jones. I am a long time family friend of this young man. Our sons starting playing basketball together at age four. De’Drick Stephon Hinson has a smile that can light up a room. His energy has always been positive and he has always been a great athlete and scholar. On Sunday August the 20th, De’Drick complained of headaches and his mother Stephanie rushed him to the ER. De’Drick was rushed in for emergency brain surgery and the family begin to pray for his recovery . The family begin to plan for De’Drick’s recovery. His mother contacted Salisbury High School where he attends school as a sophomore and a member of the football team. On Wednesday, August 23, De’Drick complained of having no feeling in his hands and was scheduled for a MRI. De’Drick was rushed into his second brain surgery due to the results. During this time we would love for De’Drick and his mother to be supported and surrounded around love. During this time Stephanie will have to leave work and stay with her son during his recovery process. De’Drick’s recovery is anticipated to last into 2024 . Stephanie will need help with household bills as well as medical expenses. We would like to support De’Drick and his mother during this process. De’Drick will be recovering
- at Levines Children’s Hospital downtown Charlotte . We appreciate your support and ask for continued Prayers.
