Keep George and Shamick at East Carolina University

Tax deductible
In the heart of Kibera Slum - the largest slum in Sub-Saharan Africa, amidst the challenges of a sprawling poverty, George Okoth and Shamick Otieno's story emerges as a beacon of hope. Introduced to ballet through an afterschool program, their raw talent caught the eye of Dance Centre Kenya, leading to scholarships and opportunities that transformed their lives. From boarding houses to prestigious international schools, their dedication to ballet and academics shone brightly.

After graduating from West Nairobi School in 2023, their journey continued with acceptance into East Carolina University. With continued studies in dance and majors in business and engineering, they're poised for success. Yet, the financial burden of tuition looms large. Despite securing RA positions to cover their room and board next school year, they need support to continue their education and pay their tuition.

Your contribution to Artist for Africa 501(c)3 ensures every dollar goes towards George and Shamick's tuition, safeguarding their dreams of a brighter future. Join us in empowering these talented young men to reach their full potential and inspire others along the way.
