Keep Gotham and Eggs Alive: Support Needed

Hello,

We are Gotham and Eggs, a superhero themed restaurant in South St. Louis City. We are starting this gofundme in an effort to save our restaurant from closing.

August 2nd will mark our 1 year anniversary and everyday we wonder if we will survive to celebrate.

Since opening in 2023, we have had to strip and re-wax the floors, battle multiple plumbing issues, have been broken in to twice, had to pay for walk-in freezer repairs three times as well as many other large expenses and repairs that come along with inheriting equipment in questionable condition.

Due to these unexpected expenses we have depleted our financial cushion and maxed out our credit capabilities. Those funds were intended to support advertising and other improvements that would bring more guests into the building and maintain a sustainable business. Without those funds we are now struggling to pay some of those repair debts, pay for the window replacements and cover overhead expenses. We have been actively treading water and are beginning to lose energy and hope.

We greatly appreciate any support in keeping us going and pulling us out of the deep end.
