Keep Gram's Restaurant Alive

Hi, I'm Dawna, better known as Gram's. I am a little God-fearing woman who decided against all odds to pursue my dream of a restaurant. I have struggled with depression and PTSD most of my life, and this is the first time I was able to overcome my anxiety and actually achieve a goal. I did DoorDash and UberEats through the pandemic lockdown day and night to make it possible since I didn't qualify for any assistance.

Now, 1 month short of my 3-year anniversary, I am being threatened with losing it all. The past 3 weeks have been one battle after another. The first week, we had the big storm, no power for a week. I cooked and gave away all inventory to the community. The second week, I opened up, and by the end of the week, I started experiencing equipment failure. I couldn't afford new equipment, so I hired contractors who scammed me and caused me not only unnecessary closure the third week but took my money.

Everyone that knows me knows I'm not making a lot of money, but I love what I do and the great community I'm in. I just need help to save my dream I worked so hard for, so the Lord led me to reach out to those in my community. God bless, Gram's.
