Keep Guinness Alive

Hello my name is Leesa, I’m Guinness’s mom. Last night Guinness had a massive seizure at home, we rushed him to the emergency vet, on the way he stopped breathing. His dad gave him

mouth to mouth & was able to breath some life back into him. The vets administered 4 different meds to stop the seizures, none of which worked, so they put him into a medically induced coma. & had to give him a breathing tube. They ran a bunch of tests all of which came back insignificant, leaving us wondering what caused such a massive seizure. He has fluid in his lungs from aspirating so they are treating him with antibiotics. He is still currently under anesthesia, the vets are going to try to

bring him out of it & see if the anti seizure meds will keep him from seizing again. We don’t know if there is any neurological damage & just pray we can have our sweet Bear home with his family. He has 2 brother’s who witnessed everything and are completely devastated. We are doing everything we can to make sure he survives this, but the cost is astronomical just for the short time he has already been at the emergency vet is already at $9200 and this doesn’t cover any treatment after 48 hours.
