Keep Hunsakers going while Brandon recovers

Hi, my name is Jeannette and I am the co-owner of Hunsaker’s Supper Club restaurant in Escondido. My partner and Chef, Brandon Hunsaker, had an accident, fracturing his spine in two places on April 11. We are a boutique small business, run by just the two of us. He is the only chef cooking in our kitchen. Brandon will be out of commission and healing for the foreseeable near future and I’d like to make sure he has his restaurant to come back and his medical expenses will not add to his stress. Brandon’s longtime friend, also an amazing chef, will be helping out in the kitchen while Brandon recovers. Additional unforeseen expenses can cripple our mom and pop restaurant. In a business where the margins are already as thin as potato slices on a mandolin, we may not be able to sustain ourselves through Brandon’s recovery. It’s going to take a lot of hard work on all fronts for Brandon and I am pulling out all the stops, including humbly asking for monetary help, to make sure he succeeds. Thank you.
