Keep Ingram’s Busy Bee Buzzing (Kalousek Family)

Chuck Kalousek, owner and baker at Ingram’s Busy Bee in Downers Grove, has become very ill with COVID-19. He battled the virus valiantly for 16 days before having to be put on a ventilator. He is currently in dire straits while they determine if he will be able to receive a lung transplant. 

They are desperately in need of prayers. The family's hearts are broken as they deal with how much suffering Chuck has endured while battling COVID-19 in intensive care. 

Anyone that knows Downers Grove, knows Busy Bee and the amazing baked goods that Chuck and his wife Katie (Stopka) have been providing the community for over 24 years. Chuck has selflessly given time and talent to provide a service for the community.

For those family and friends that know the Kalousek family personally, they know of his sacrifices, his selflessness, his kindness, his dedication, love of family and his sense of humor. We are praying that Chuck will be able to be with his family again - smiling, laughing and returning to his life's passion at Busy Bee Bakery.
