It is the one-year anniversary of the day Jeffrey Arensberg, our beloved son ,brother, and uncle, took his last breath. His death was devastating to his family and many friends. Think about your family as the Tree of Life. The leaves fly away, the branches stay on for years, but not forever. The roots are supposed to be forever, so when one of the roots gets ripped out, your tree becomes unstable, vulnerable, and fragile. Jeffrey’s loss felt quite like that. As he grew up, he was able to turn a struggling beginning into a legacy that will live on in the hearts of so many. He quietly helped so many people both professionally and personally. We want to honor him in a way that he would understand to be fitting to his unique, cheerful, and helpful nature.

We want to donate to those who might not have the means to afford music lessons. Being a drum therapist and given his profound love of the magic of music led us to want to continue his legacy by helping to fund and grow “Albany Rock Pit”. Based on the popular “School of Rock”, it helps people of all ages to build a solid music foundation and prepare for a possible career in the music industry. Not only do they learn how to play an instrument or sing, it is an opportunity to feel acceptance in a group of like-minded individuals. Jeff would be so happy to know that all of us want to carry his mission forward. He would have loved it!! Please consider donating to this amazing program in honor of Jeff’s memory. Thank you.
