Jennifer aka Comics Will Break Your Heart is a lifelong comics reader who's shared her love of the medium across hours and hours of video streams and podcasts. Her uncanny knack for combining deep insights and completely inappropriate comments have delighted thousands and infuriated dozens (who, quite frankly, deserved it).

A couple of months ago, Jennifer was diagnosed with a very serious and aggressive form of cancer at the age of 34. There's no good age to get news like that. But 34 is especially tough.

The good news is, she’s already started treatment, and if there is a silver lining in here, it's that her age improves her odds of beating it.

The most crucial thing right now is that she needs to have the resources to continue her treatment all the way to a successful outcome. Anyone familiar with health care in the U.S. knows that, even with decent insurance, fighting a serious illness isn’t cheap.

She’s doing everything she can to get healthy, and we’re doing everything we can to raise the funds that she needs to continue doing exactly that. Every dime that we raise here goes straight into Jennifer's checking account (after GFM's fees) to help her cover the medical bills that are already starting to pile up.
