Keep Kenny Kicking!

If you are lucky enough to know Kenny Walker, then you've had the pleasure of hearing his laugh and seeing his welcoming smile. To Kenny, his family and friends mean the world, and everything he does is for them. His quick wit and sense of humor are juat bonuses!

But now Kenny needs us. On Saturday October 21, Kenny was rushed to the hospital with paralysis of his legs. He required emergency surgery on his spine to repair ruptured and damaged discs. Surgery went well, but the prognosis is still unknown. He has a long road ahead of him, which will include an intensive, long stay at a therapeutic facility to help make progress forward.

While Kenny and Darra try to wrap their heads around this life-altering change, they are also trying to wrap their heads around how they will continue to sustain their family. Kenny will not be able to work for the foreseeable future, and rehab facilities are very expensive. They have 3 young girls who still need their worlds to keep moving.

We don't know what the future holds, but one thing is certain- more support is always better. Let's rally around Kenny to let him know his community is here, to help him keep kicking!
