Keep Kira Walking ❤️

Hi, my name is Riki!

I’m Kira’s fur mama and I’m hoping for your help in keeping my sweet angel girl walking, hiking and living life to the fullest like she loves.

Kira is a lively and loving 3 year old girl. Unfortunately, this summer Kira had to undergo knee surgery where it was discovered she needed surgery on both her hind knees. She was diagnosed with a deterioration disorder in the ligaments of her hind legs. With this disorder it caused the ligaments in both knees to completely rupture. We completed the reconstructive surgery on one knee this summer and were hoping we had time before doing the other knee as it wasn’t causing her much of an issue yet. Well our time seems to have run out and she requires the other surgery much sooner than anticipated. The costs have been covered for the first knee, but help would be so appreciated with this next one.

Kira is my soul dog and at only 3 she has SO MUCH life left to live. I would love her to live it to the fullest. Being her owner is my greatest gift and as a pet owner it comes with costs and responsibilities, but $24,000 in one year is not something I don’t think any pet owner could plan for.
