Keep Lillian Safe: Prevent Eviction

Hi. My name is Jared. My 7-year old daughter Lillian and I need help. We suffered a devastating financial hardship in August of ‘24 and I’ve been trying to recover ever since. Lillian’s mother, who is mentally ill and has been arrested multiple times for stalking, harassing, and making our lives a living hell, quit her job and hasn’t paid child support since last August causing a net loss of approximately $1500/month for us.

I’ve made adjustments with child care and health care to ease the financial strain, but I got behind in my rent. I submitted my entire $4500 tax return to my back rent, but still find myself approximately $3800 in arrears and my property management firm seeking eviction. I have eviction court on March 20th.

My daughter has been through so much turmoil and uncertainty this year, I could not bear to have her experience an eviction. I have swallowed my pride and am begging for help from anyone who is able to. Please help us. Thank you!
