Support Bangalow Theatre Company - We Need You!

The Bangalow Theatre Company (BTC) is a volunteer based, not-for-profit, community centric organisation. We have been running for 8 years, with HAIR being our 7th production. Our aim is to continue to bring local audiences high quality theatre each year.

We are a team of locals who are passionate about the performing arts, many of us have worked professionally in the industry both nationally and internationally. Our entire creative team, from Director to Choreographer, Musical Director and Set Designer, and all of the cast and crew, are all volunteers, and have day-time jobs.

We have been rehearsing HAIR for over six months, equating to 300+ hours of rehearsing. If we add in production meetings, admin, marketing, PR, costumes, set design, front of house and band rehearsals, that’s a commitment of 500+ hours from a volunteer team of more than 50 talented individuals.

BTC will invest 100% of any money donated into funding this show and our next. Theatre hire, rehearsal space, lighting and sound equipment and tech specialists are not cheap! We are proud to be able to invest in some paid work for local technicians and venue operators.
