Keep Mark Muster Moving: Handicap Van Repair Fund
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Kelly Sather. I'm a member of United in Christ Lutheran Church. A fellow congregation member and friend, Mark Muster, could use some of our support right now.
About five years ago, Mark fell and things snowballed resulting in him becoming disabled. At that time his family purchased a lift van (handicap accessible) to help continue to allow Mark to be mobile in our community. The van served the family well and met their needs, but now several things are needed at once. Multiple quotes were gathered for the repairs that are needed.
1. Brakes and rotors $800-$1000
2. Lift gate motor $1800-$2000
3. The hydraulic lift to lower the van so it is easier for Mark to use the ramp stopped working. The automatic slide door for the ramp also started working intermittently and if it was in process of opening or closing, it would need to be forcefully opened or closed to reset it. $7000
This vehicle is what the family needs in order to get Mark to and from appointments for his dialysis, wound care, and other medical appointments. The family is no longer able to take care of Mark physically in their home, but they would like to ensure he can still access the community and is safe in doing so.
Being able to access one's community is extremely important for their overall well-being. Your generosity would be greatly appreciated to help Mark continue to be connected to his community and to access his medical appointments safely.
