Keep Melissa's Farm Afloat!

Hello all, I'm running this GFM on behalf of Melissa.

Last year after 17 years of working in the poultry industry, Melissa used her savings to follow in her grandfather’s footsteps and pursue her lifelong dream of opening her own farm. For 11 months, she pulled double duty working as both a field technician and farmer-supplier for Cook’s Venture.

Two months ago, despite millions in backing from venture capital, Cooks Venture closed with only a few days notice, leaving Melissa and dozens of other families in her small Northwest Arkansas community in the lurch. Melissa is a single mom and the sole provider for her household. Since losing both of her jobs she's done everything she can to stay afloat, but now she needs help to avoid foreclosure and keep up her farm loan and insurance payments. Any donations will be used to pay down debt and keep the farm open. We're trying to raise as much as we can before her next payment on January 12th.
