Keep Mom Safe: Aid the Walls Family

Hello all, the Walls family is in the middle of a guardianship court case in which my mother in law is the focus. It is based out of Texas. We have spent all of our expendable savings 24k worth. We have temporary guardianship of mom. The problem is the courts are siding with the Older estranged daughter who has been given Guardianship of the Estate. She seems to have the court wrapped around her finger and every complaint she has made caused the judge in a court of no record (meaning there is no transcript of the proceeding) to tighten the orders and expectation of my wife. This has resulted in orders written threatening contempt of court due to mom not wanting to talk on the phone. If mom won’t answer my wife is “preventing” the communication even when they had been texting. Our current lawyer does nothing and needs replaced. We need to hire a lawyer from outside the county because we need outside eyes in this court. This unfortunate event is the stuff lifetime movies are made of. As a retired Senior Chief Petty Officer of 36 years and a Fire Rescue engineer of 34 years I can tell you I have never seen such disservice in elder care. I’m asking for help to fight this. We are well off in retirement but that’s 2 years away. I’m asking for some help with my hat in hand here to keep mom safe from the two daughters who do t have moms best interest at heart. The 15k is just enough to retain the new lawyer who can complete the task of getting an appropriate order and transfer this case to be monitored by a Florida court.
