Keep Music at the Marina free and growing

For over 20 years, Music at the Marina has been one of Snohomish County's favorite weeknight summer events. Thursday evenings, the waterfront fills up with sun and smiles for live music and community connection. If there's ever one night to show off the magic of Everett to a friend from out of town, you'd bring them here.
In 2021, it was determined unlikely that Music at the Marina would make it's way back after the State of Washington opened up back up. In April of 2021, the Everett Events Foundation (Everett Fourth of July Foundation) partnered with Everett Music Initiative to fundraise, curate and produce a four-week music series. Following a successful year, the partnership worked to grow the production in every way possible. In addition to a significantly larger footprint, EMI recruited Audio Engineers Northwest to bring a larger stage and bring the sound quality far beyond where it had ever been before, allowing hundreds of more attendees to enjoy the music each week. The series was also grown to six weeks, getting closer to the summer full of music it used to be. On the larger nights, it was estimated over 5,000 people walked through the event to enjoy music, food trucks, vendors and waterfront businesses.
This year, the Everett Events Foundation and Everett Music Initiative are extremely excited to deliver an eight-week summer music series featuring a KILLER lineup of music across so many genres. We've put together an incredible team to ensure this will be another dynamite year of music, food and community building.
This year's fundraiser is acknowledging that we've taken a giant leap to make an eight-week series happen. Event expenses (stage, PA, honey buckets, fencing, etc) have all skyrocketed, and it's our wish to keep this event sustainably growing, and free. With thousands of attendees enjoying this event each week without a fee, this GoFundMe Campaign is your chance to contribute to this event's future. All proceeds will go directly to the Everett Events Foundation (Everett Fourth of July Foundation), a 501c3, and will cover event expenses, with any extra funds going toward next year's event.
We want to acknowledge Mayor Cassie Franklin and the City of Everett, as well as the Port of Everett who continue to invest into this series because they know that events like these are why we love to call Everett home. The businesses who have sponsored this event also allow this music series to go on, and let it continue to be free of charge, and make sure our entire community can enjoy and appreciate this event. We appreciate all of you: Lombardi's Restaurant, Century Pacific, Tito's Vodka, Coastal Community Bank, Rainier Beer, Truly Hard Seltzer, Twisted Tea and more (added soon).
