Keep my family safe and at home.

Hello, my name is Joseph. Recently it was discovered that my ex wife with whom I've been divorced from for two years had been abusing and neglecting our children. Her manic episodes of delusional psychosis have hurt them, scared them, and left scars that they'll most likely have the rest of their lives.

I have taken in my two children with whom I've had with her as well as two others from her previous relationship prior to me. I raised them since they were young and consider them my own. They call me dad. On that note, their biological father and I have been in talks and agree that keeping the kids would benefit them more and that he and I will be coparenting for them.

The problem is obtaining the funds in order to hire and retain an attorney with whom I'm confident will help us obtain the most favorable outcome in court. That outcome being I get full custody of my children and physical custody of my older two with joint legal custody with their father. In order to obtain this outcome I'm requesting donations in order to pay attorney, legal, and court fees on top of simply providing for my family.

This case is unique and absolutely chaotic in keeping to legalities and it is difficult to admit that I am in financial hardship since I have had to essentially help my kids restart their lives in a safe environment with a family that will actually treat and raise them right.
