Keep My Wife & I From Losing Our House
Donation protected
• My wife is fighting cancer, since 2022
• I had a COVID-induced triple stent heart surgery at the same time in 2022
• Our medical bills are crippling us.
• Our mortgage got behind & the mortgage company moved to foreclose & evict, on 6 JUL 23
• A friend put up $20k to reinstate the mortgage, with the next payment due on 1 SEP 23, but he understandably wants his money back, ASAP.
• The business we own is NOT supporting us properly, anymore, and we really cannot afford that next mortgage payment due on 1 SEP 23.
• In order to qualify for a reverse mortgage, the house's equity does not provide enough, given our qualifying age, so we need $70k to $90k, in order to close a reverse mortgage.
• If that were to happen, we would no longer need to make the $1,700 per month, mortgage payments, and we would be able to catch up, plus it would take the pressure off our business, to have to support us.
• We are in a real-time crunch, or be forced out into the streets, with no home.
• I do not want to become a statistic of a homeless US Veteran, with an infirm-wife, and mounting medical bills.
• We are trying everything we can, and a friend suggested trying a Go Fund Me page to help.
• As a business owner, I HAVE supported and funded many people, in my lifetime, who have been hurting. Now I am the one in need, and all of my friends and family are not able to help.
• I am looking forward to a day when I can again be a type of a "Good Samaritan," to people around me who are in need.
