Keep Noelle Dispenza in your prayers !
Meet the Dispenza Family.
Rob, Michelle, and Noelle.
Rob has been a NJ State Correctional Police Officer for the past 15 years, his lovely Wife Michelle has worked for Hackensack Medical for the past three years and is currently an Assistant Administrator for The Pediatric Wing at Jersey Shore Medical Center. They reside in Hazlet NJ with there beautiful daughter Noelle who is 16 months old.
In July 2019, Rob and Michelle noticed a lump under Noelles armpit. They immediately had an ultrasound done with negative results and was told by doctors to just keep and eye on it. The lump never went away and another one appeared on Noelles back, so they decided to see an oncologist to get some answers. The oncologist prescribed an anti-biotic thinking it might be an infection. After she finished the course of anti-biotics it still never went away, so they had a consult with a pediatric surgeon to look at the lumps and a biopsy of the lump was taken. The results of the biopsy came back cancerous and Noelle was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma. They immediately went to CHOP in Philadelphia for a consultation and multiple testing including another biopsy, an MRI, a bone marrow test, and MIBDG test. The testing came back with bad news, Noelle has multiple tumors and needed to be admitted immediately for the start of Chemotherapy Treatments.
Rob, Michelle, and Noelle have a long road ahead of them. Michelle is currently using her sick time but will eventually have to take a leave of absence to care for Noelle. Rob is using sick time here and there but has to remain working to maintain his health benefits and to provide for his family.
Rob and Michelle have a great support system with both of their parents always helping out, but the expenses will build up fast between the traveling to and from Philadelphia, medical co pays, medication that might not be covered. Once they only have one income coming in, it’s going to become very taxing on them as a family.
Please keep this family in your prayers, and consider helping them out with a donation. Any amount will help, no donation is too small.
Thank you, and God Bless !!
