Help Get Our Donation Truck Back on the Road
Donation protected
Hello, everyone! Unfortunately, the catalytic converter on our donation truck was stolen, threatening our ability to serve thousands of families with essential groceries. For nearly a decade, Showers of Blessings ministries has answered God's call to feed the hungry and care for those in need. Our food pantry has become a testament to His abundant grace, serving over 1,000 families each month in Antioch and surrounding communities. Many in the downtown area are familiar with our efforts, and though we may be a small church, our impact on the community has been great. And with grocery prices continuing to climb, more families are turning to the pantry each week, which we are so blessed to be able to provide for. However, this unexpected expense threatens our ability to collect the donations we need to keep food flowing to Antioch's underserved residents.
Our donation truck is the heartbeat of our operation - traveling throughout the East Bay area six days a week to collect food donations that stock our pantry shelves. Without a functioning catalytic converter, our truck cannot operate. So we are kindly asking for any donations to help us cover the costs to be able to continue doing what we have so humbly been called to do: feed His sheep.
"Whoever sows generously will also reap generously" (2 Corinthians 9:6). With your donations, we can ensure this temporary challenge becomes another testimony to God's unfailing provision. Thank you!
