A Fundraising Appeal #COVID #smallbusinessrelief
To our dear community of students, family, and friends.
Haute Bodhi has proudly served the community of Tenleytown and residents of D.C. for almost 20 years. Every day we focus on helping our students connect to themselves and the world around while building strong healthy bodies, minds, and hearts. We believe in the power of yoga to transform the health and lives of our students. We hope to continue to do just that for many years to come. At Haute Bodhi Hot Yoga we are passionate about teaching Yoga as preventative healthcare. Access to healthy additions to our allopathic care system are now very limited and our space offers our community the chance to stay active and connected physically, mentally and emotionally. Movement is medicine!
Like so many local businesses, we have been severely affected by the economic effects of the pandemic. After 14 months of being severely limited in our capacity to operate, we are in a desperate situation and reaching out to our community for help. In order to operate past May 31st, we need to raise $50,000.
This has been a year full of loss, fear, and uncertainty. During these challenging times, we have strived to be a beacon of wellness and truth in a difficult moment in our collective story. We know what a difficult time this is for all of us and we understand there are many individuals and organizations in need. If you are in a position to help, please consider giving $50 or any amount that you are able to.
In July, we will celebrate our 20th anniversary as a proud local business in Tenleytown and the original hot yoga studio in D.C. We are so grateful for all the love and support of our Tenleytown community of Yogi's and health minded human beings.
We continue to explore every means of possible support, including federal and local grants and loans, but these funds are not guaranteed to come in, and they won’t meet the needs of our short-term. And so, we must humbly ask for your support.
Please help us stay open so we can continue serving our community.
