Keep Second Stage open!!

Second Stage is a new dry venue, located at 268 water street. It a great space with so much potential! The ideal space to host all ages events and a place for bands to Jam and record music. Second Stage is a place where both kids and adults are welcome to enjoy local music and support all art forms. Being a dry venue (meaning no alcohol sales) is making is very difficult to generate the funds to cover the monthly costs to remain open during these slow months we are currently in. Pride has kept the owner of this new venue from asking for any help.. but being fixated on his dream of making a place a pillar of the local music scene, he has been trying to do it alone. The time has come for either make or break for Second Stage, with the help of the community we can make this dream come true and keep open this place open, giving the youth a place to be and express themselves though art and community. Please help if you have the means, I truly believe the youth need a place like this to show them that there is purpose and community without the involvement of drugs and alcohol. Without your help another beautiful dream will be crushed to dust, and the youth left again without a place to have purpose
