I have set up this Go Fund me page for a very strong, brave and courageous little girl… Skye.
My name is Lucy Perrins.
Most of you may know me through Christina but if you don’t I am one of her best friends.
We met through our children being at the same primary school together and have been friends ever since.
As a parent myself the news of Skye’s diagnoses is just indescribable. I needed to do something small to help this process in any way I could.

11 days ago my little girl, my best friend and my absolute world was diagnosed with Acute lymphoblastic leukaemia. My world shattered and my heart broke into a billion pieces. I haven’t stopped crying, haven’t stopped thinking why her, such a beautiful, sweet, kind and caring little girl who has done nothing wrong, nothing to deserve this god awful disease… but there are no reasons, she’s done nothing wrong, I’ve done nothing wrong, it’s not genetic and no one knows why Acute lymphoblastic leukaemia happens!
It just does and it has happened to us!
We are living this awful nightmare which I somehow, as a mother, have to turn into something we can overcome together, be strong together and keep her spirits as high as possible so she can get back to some kind of normality.
Skye has been through hell in the last 11 days, been under general anaesthesia 3 times already, had chemo 4 times, had more test and scans than anyone should in their lifetime.
She has been incredible and I’m so proud to be her Mum!
To my little girl, I will not leave your side until you are healthy again, you’ll never be alone or scared, we will fight this together and we will win! You are my world, my viking princess warrior, my supergirl! We’ve got this

Christina will be unable to work as she needs to care for Skye 24/7 for the next 6 months as Skye will be undergoing intensive chemotherapy.
