Our community has created something beautiful. From creating a haven to get outside and dance during the pandemic to becoming a consistent part of our lives that brings beautiful souls together, Tabor Dance is a foundational rock for our community.

Help Us Continue Our Mission:

The official host of Tabor Dance - Portland's free, Wednesday sunset dance at Mt Tabor Park and other public spaces in the Portland Metro Area.

Mount Tabor Dance Community (MTDC) creates free, volunteer-run dance events to inspire positivity, resilience, respect, and inclusion through freedom, joy, and play.

We cultivate space for brave and body-positive expression, and aspire for this community to be safe and affirming of all identities, races, ages, abilities, and bodies.

But today we face a challenge.

If we are going to continue to provide free Wednesday shows, we must evolve as it is time to address issues that have made our operations unsustainable. Most importantly, porta-potties are needed to support our patrons and to be good stewards to our natural spaces.

Our relationship with Portland Parks Department requires additional funding to meet the permit regulations to continue our use of public parks in an equitable manner.

But TOGETHER we CAN do it.
