Help Keep the Doors Open at St. Vincent’s Southend Homeless Day Centre
Every day at St. Vincent’s Southend Homeless Day Centre, lives are being changed. We provide more than just food and warmth—we’re a place of hope and transformation, where individuals and families experiencing homelessness can rebuild their lives with dignity and care.
This year, we face an unprecedented challenge. Rising demand for our services, increasing costs, and a reduction in grant funding have left us with a critical funding gap. To ensure we can continue providing life-changing support, we need to raise £120,000. Without these funds, we may have to scale back essential services that so many people rely on.
What We Do
At St. Vincent’s, we are more than a shelter—we provide pathways to brighter futures. Every year, we support over 1,200 individuals by offering:
Hot meals, food parcels, and warm clothing
A safe, welcoming space for those with nowhere else to go
Life-changing programs like employment readiness, trauma recovery, and family assistance
Your Impact
Your generosity will directly support our efforts to bring warmth, safety, and hope to Southend’s most vulnerable this winter. Here’s how you can make a difference:
£10 provides a warm meal for a family
£25 funds a bed for someone without a home
£50 supports recovery and transition programs
Every donation, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to ensuring no one is left out in the cold this winter.
Join Us in Making a Difference
