The Friedlanders have endured so much in the past several years. From discrimination against their beautiful family and medical emergencies to job insecurity due to the pandemic.
The Friedlanders are the best of us. They are a loving family with a wonderful nine year old daughter who are simply struggling to keep their heads above water. Please join me in helping them bridge the gap to .
Adam, Caleb and their daughter "A" are part of my "framily" and would never ask for help themselves. Let's show them that our community is their community too.
From Adam:
When the quarantine started, we were comfortable. Both of us were employed and our daughter was doing well. By the end of 2020, however, much had changed. I was laid off from my job, started transitioning, experienced several large medical setbacks that put me into debt, and just trying to make it day by day got harder and harder. I need help.
Now, my husband is in a position where his job is in jeopardy. Due to company mismanagement and funds, it is becoming increasingly more likely that we will both be unemployed soon. This....I don't even have words to describe just how scary this is to think about with a small child to take care of.
I'm asking anyone who is willing and able to do so, to pass on whatever job leads or donations they can give to help us keep a roof over our heads and our family fed. I am so scared right now and I don't know what else to do. Thank you to everyone for hearing me out! I am forever grateful for your help
