Like bees travelling between flowers to distribute pollen, The Humble Mission is a not-for-profit organisation to share kindness where it's most needed.
Every Saturday, our Relief by The River service distributes the weekly essentials, including meals, groceries, toiletries, health services, clothes and more. Not to mention our much-loved coffee and sausages! These items go to our friends who need them most. Plus, we help individuals with other needs in any way we can outside our Saturday Service
Over the last 12 months, we have been humbled by your support every week to help us reach so many in need. You entrusted us with donations of over $50,000 to buy our Humble Mission Van that travels throughout the week, picking up and sourcing donations.
Your donations have helped us to distribute:
20,000+ MEALS
700kgs+ OF SAUSAGES
1,000s OF COFFEES
10,000+ LOAVES OF BREAD
And we need your help and donations to keep us going!
1) To extend our current storage lease for a further two years
This is to help us store all your overwhelmingly generous donations, and is valued at $14,000 per year plus outgoings
2) To purchase a manual table lift
To help us carry/transport warehouse supplies so we can expand and distribute at greater capacity
3) To keep up with food bank orders for the next 6 months
To order pantry and fridge items, fruit and veg and toiletries, which are what our friends sustain themselves with long-term
With all of the above considered, our weekly running cost is $500.
