Keep the Lights on at the Tucson Clay Co-op
Donation protected
The Tucson Clay Co-Op was created with the vision of creating an open, affordable and safe community to learn how to make pottery and ceramics as well as advance skills for those with clay experience. We have been wholly independent up to this point, accepting minimal donations (mostly in the form of materials and equipment).
COVID19 has been taking its toll on small businesses, particularly the service industry. It is affecting us greatly in being able to serve our current community of students, independent studies, and members and is putting our future at risk.
We have not campaigned and fundraised in the past as we have been self reliant and through the sale of our community made pieces are effectively able to fundraise ourselves.
It is with heavy hearts and loving kindness that we ask for your support today to keep our studio open beyond the Coronavirus pandemic. We are calling out for your support and merely asking that you donate to provide a small stipend for our fantastic group of teachers, Jaren, Maxine, Pancho, Paul, Catherine, and Gerri who are dependent on the Tucson clay co-op as their livelihood and to be able to pay our rent, utility bills and insurance.
Our hopes are that in this time of self isolation, we may still provide service, albeit limited, to serve the creative needs of the community who decide to work from home by offering live virtual workshops.
Stay safe, we are all praying for a miracle, that this crisis ends as quickly as it came.
