Keep the Pub Afloat
I opened the Pub at 29, after spending almost 3 years getting everything in place (knowledge, paperwork, and furniture). I didn't do it alone, but the Pub has always been my baby. For over a year before we opened, I spent every Tuesday hosting game nights at 2 different breweries to get the Pub's name out there, and to show how awesome board games are, especially paired with beer. It ended up creating my core group of regulars, my Tuesday Game Night crew, and it only fueled the fire for me to create the Pub. It's because of these last 6 years that I'm optimistic that the Pub, and in turn, my family and I will survive this pandemic.
I recognize that a lump of money, while extremely helpful, will not solve all of my problems. There is a Patreon for those more financially stable to set up a continuous donation, and there will be a swap meet style fundraiser where crafters can donate items for the Pub to sell, or nerdy item donations can be resold with the Pub collecting the profits. I also have a 'Monthly Beer Box' idea to help keep sales up during the slower months. If you have more ideas or want more information on donating items, email me at [email redacted]
The lump of money will help these past due bills:
$2,958 - Accounting Fee
$2,800 - IRS Late Fee
$3,976 - Health Insurance
$8,011 - Ashley's Paychecks April 2020 - Current
Stretch goals!
$ - Cooler Repair
$ - New Hoodies
$ - Cool Merchandise
$ - All-Ages?
If you have the ability to donate to this cause, you would have my gratitude, but also the gratitude of the community that encouraged me to start the campaign.
