Keep them Learning ... Keep them Safe

Chelsea School has been serving students with language-based learning disabilities for over 44 years. We are a non-profit college-preparatory school serving students in the Washington, DC area. 

We need your help! 

Our school is operating 100% virtually this fall, and it is imperative that we supplement our distance learning platform with hands-on materials that students can use at home. Using public and private grants, we were able to provide Chromebooks for most of our students, but we need financial support to purchase other items including:

Manipulative tools for math
Reading intervention materials
Science lab supplies for home use
Social studies materials
Art supplies
Home fitness equipment
Instructional materials for teachers
Grocery store gift cards for families in need 

Our biggest concern during this time of school closure and distance learning is academic regression, especially in reading, math, and writing. Our students come to us several grade levels behind their peers, and they cannot afford to slip behind any farther. Your donation will help us to insure that regression does not happen during this critical time.
