Keep two disabled old men off the streets.

I am Darin Cochran. I'm 60 years old. in 2020 I suffered a fall and broke both my ankles. As I had been taking care of my younger brother, who is on disability, life got harder. We spent through our inheritance. I got a job working from home and was making barely enough to get by. As you can imagine, rent was and is killing us. Well, thanks to a dispute with my landlord, I had to go to court, and all that messing around with courts caused me to lose my job. I spent through my savings. spent my 401k. we sold nearly everything we have of any value. Our landlord Our landlord threw us out. With no job I have had to stay in the cheapest hotel I could find. I've been searching for work, but I am unable to stand for more than 3 minutes, walk further than 30 yards or lift weights in excess of 30 lbs. This has complicated my job search no end. I still hope will find a new job soon, I hope. I had an income tax return coming but the IRS has not paid me, claiming I made a mistake on the forms. I filed an amended return, but will not get any money back for 60 to 90 days. I'm at my wits end, and am getting suicidal. any help anyone could contribute would be a life saver, literally. The risk from covid remains high, and staying in a shelter would be asking for trouble, even if shelter beds were available. Any assistance would be met with our unending gratitude.
