If you know Ryan and I you know that we are not the type of people to ask for help. The several year long custody battle has accrued what is becoming an insurmountable debt to the attorneys. His ex left Oregon without court permission creating the need to retain an OR and WA attorney. They are gracious enough to accept payments however with the current kidnapping I’m not sure how much longer they will.
Vancouver PD has been of no help in locating the boys. We have not spoken to the assigned detective and the frequent answer to speak to someone is met with they are on vacation or off and everyone deserves a day off. We have come to the realization that we need to hire a private investigator if we are going to find them. Though with having to attend court dates and make calls to ensure we are pushing for the boys to be found Ryan is missing a substantial amount of work. I have returned from maternity leave early part time to try and help but we are quickly drowning.
Any help will go towards current and future attorney bills, hiring a private investigator, and hopefully staying afloat while we work through this. We would both prefer to do anything other than this route but have exhausted all of our means. We don’t want this situation to affect the kids still in the home or impede our ability to locate the boys. We appreciate all of the support and the shares of the posts for the boys mean the world to us.
