Keep Whalers Way Wild!

The Eyre Peninsula Environmental Protection Alliance are fighting to protect and conserve Whalers Way, a nature sanctuary protected under a Heritage Agreement, located at the southern tip of the Lower Eyre Peninsula.

This area is under threat from a major development proposal, currently being assessed by the South Australian government, to allow a private company, SouthernLaunch, to build and run a rocket launching facility within this sanctuary. It is home to remnant native vegetation and threatened/endangered species including the Eastern Osprey, Southern Right Whale, Australian Sea Lion and Southern Emu Wren.

Help us help the Nature Conservation Society of SA as they take the State Planning Department to the Supreme Court over the 'temporary' trial launch campaign approved and extended for another year.
