Keep Queer A.F. Open in The Castro!

Hello Queer A.F. Friends, Fans, and Family!

We want to first say THANK YOU to everyone who has been involved in bringing this incredible space to life. We have SO much more to come! However, our rent has more than doubled as of January 2023, and we need your immediate support to stay open and sustainable. Please donate today to help make it happen!

With our increased rent, and the Castro slowly coming back to life after the pandemic, we need the community's support to cover new costs and grow into the even more vibrant, engaged, supportive space Queer A.F. is destined to be. Additionally, the Queer A.F. founders have kept this space open and alive by volunteering our time, energy, and love, and it’s time to be paid for our efforts!

To ensure our success and future, we hope you will contribute to our goal of $50,000.00 and give us the opportunity to pay our new rent, hire a shopkeeper, keep our commission rates low, and build a whole new set of exhibitions, events, and collaborations. With your help, Queer A.F. will soar into the New Year and provide our community with all new offerings and celebrations!

Because of the generous support we've already received, Queer Arts Featured has begun to celebrate and build upon the legacy of Harvey Milk and 575 Castro St. by creating space and opportunity for Queer folks historically underrepresented in The Castro and beyond. With your love and support, Queer A.F. has become the community and creative center of our dreams.

We have opened seven exhibitions, shown and sold the work of over seventy artists and makers from across the LBGTQ+ spectrum, hosted dozens of workshops and events from healing arts to rope bondage, and met thousands of incredible folks from around the world, in only six months!

In 2023 we will have six new exhibitions, gorgeous new goods in the boutique from creators across the Bay Area, and events from Reggaeton to makeup workshops, storytelling to tea parties and so much more, all created and hosted by local artists!!

We have been blessed to have the most amazing supporters, creators, donors, and community members help us make Queer A.F. a place to create opportunity, build community, and celebrate art for the last six months. In short, Queer Arts Featured has been a runaway success, and it's all thanks to you.
