Keep Connor Active
Donation protected
Connor was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in October 2015. Osteosarcoma is a form of bone cancer and Connor had his tumour in the Fibula of his right leg. After initial treatment his leg could not be saved as the tumour had involved the major blood vessels and nerves in his lower leg. An above knee amputation was performed in January 2016. Connor will be in treatment until the summer of 2016 but after this wants to return to the fun, active and sporty life he had before. Any money raised is being set aside for him to aid and fund his active lifestyle. Initially his prosthetic limb provision will be through the NHS but as he stops growing and gets older the aim is use any money raised to provide him with the best prosthetic leg we can afford.
