Keeping Amber's future bright

 

 

 

On Jan 14th, the world became a little less bright, and it is with great sadness we are saying goodbye to Flora. Flora was so full of life and had contagious energy about her, always one for an adventure and good time. She was a dreamer and wanted others to follow their dreams as well. Flora's biggest dream was to have a family, and on Nov 5th, 2021, this dream came true when her daughter Amber was born. We were excited for Flora and the next adventure she would take as a mom. Unfortunately, after the birth of Amber, Flora suffered from a severe form of post-partum depression, one she could not recover from, and she left us to find peace.

 

Flora's sister, Mimi and her partner Jonathan will take on the role of caring for Amber and raise her as a sister to their daughter, expected later this year.

 

With Flora's sudden and unexpected passing, little was set up financially for the future care of Amber.  Therefore, I am setting up this fundraiser to help Mimi and Jonathan raise Amber and keep her future bright in memory of my friend.

 

Any donation would be greatly appreciated, and the funds would cover the legal fees for adopting Amber and providing for her needs as she grows.
